• Newberry Academy offers an after school program for 2K to 6^th grade students that allows students to stay at the kindergarten until 5:30pm.  For 2K, 3K and 4K, after school begins at 12:00pm.  For 5K – 8t^h grade, it begins at 2:40pm.  This program is helpful to parents who work during these hours or would like to pick up their younger student at the main dismissal of 2:40pm.  Features of our after school program include-
• Fun play time! Students have more time with friends, mostly outside, unless the weather does not permit.
• Rest time for 2K – 4K. If you would like your child to rest/nap, we have a rest period after lunch.
• Extra time for academics! Older students who have homework attend the homework room.
• Afternoon snack

The program is divided into two separate fees, which can be drafted with your tuition on the 15th of each month or paid to the school monthly via check or cash.  The attendance and draft date schedule is listed below. The fee to stay from 12:00pm until 2:40pm is $100.00 per month and is due by the 15 of each month. The exception to this fee are the months of August, December and May in which the fee will be $75.00.  The August fee is due the first week of school.  An hourly fee of $7.00 is available for occasional use.

The fee for staying past 2:40pm is a flat fee of $50.00 per week or $7.00 per hour or any part of an hour. Please pick up your child by 5:30pm.  The teachers plan their schedules based on this closing time.  Anyone abusing the time limits will be charged $7.00 per 10 minutes they are late. Fee notices for lower and middle school students will also be sent by text from
the NA Business office prior to the due date.
