Newberry Academy

When Newberry Academy was founded in 1966, retired Newberry College president James Kinard was brought on board as the first headmaster.  He established a strong academic base for the school that has been maintained over the first four decades of operation.  Standards have not have been lowered to accommodate the decline in the quality of education offered or desired across America.  Academic responsibility is stressed from kindergarten through twelfth grade and the positive results are easily observed in the success of our graduates as they further their educations at institutions of higher learning.
