Junior Civitans is a service based club whose main purpose is to make the world a better place. Newberry Academy hosts one of the most active clubs in the state with one club member serving as an officer on the district board. Newberry Academy is also the only private school in South Carolina to have a Junior Civitan club.
The club does projects throughout the year to benefit our community and school. Some of these annual projects include Adopt-A-Highway where we clean up Smith Road, collecting can tabs for Ronald McDonald House, and also a food drive to benefit Manna House. |
